Perfect for intensive daily use: with a range of up to 400 km, the PEUGEOT e-Expert Hydrogen covers all distances without CO2 emissions and can be refuelled in three minutes.
The PEUGEOT e-Expert Hydrogen features a new and specific “mid-power plug-in hydrogen fuel cell electric” system.
This innovative system consists of a fuel cell that uses the hydrogen in the tank to generate the electricity needed to power the vehicle and a high-voltage lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 10.5 kWh. The battery powers the electric motor during certain driving phases and can be recharged from the mains.
The entire “mid-power plug-in hydrogen fuel cell electric” system integrates compactly into the engine compartment and underbody, so that the load volume is equivalent to diesel and battery electric versions. A low centre of gravity ensures stability, safety and agility. The load volume is up to 6.1m³, with up to 1,000 kilograms of payload.
The ability to refuel with hydrogen in three minutes for a range of over 400 kilometres in the WLTP (Worldwide harmonised Light vehicles Test Procedures) homologation cycle1 is a decisive advantage for working people who have to cover several hundred kilometres on the motorway in a day and enter emission-restricted inner cities.
PEUGEOT e-Expert Hydrogen will be available in two lengths (standard and long). Production will take place in Rüsselsheim at the production facilities of the Stellantis centre of excellence for hydrogen technology.

[1] The energy consumption and CO2 emission values for all electric versions were determined according to the newly introduced WLTP (Worldwide harmonised Light vehicles Test Procedure), which is also used to determine the vehicle tax. The stated ranges and values represent an average value for the respective model series. They may vary under everyday conditions and depend on various factors, e.g. equipment, options selected, tyres, outside temperature, personal driving style or route conditions.
