Citroën ë-Jumpy Hydrogen
Efficient vehicle architecture for greater range

The Citroën ë-Jumpy Hydrogen combines all the qualities of internal combustion vehicles and enables environmentally conscious, future-oriented driving without CO2 emissions.
The innovative combination with the best of a 10.5 kWh lithium-ion battery, a 45 kW fuel cell and 4.4 kg of usable hydrogen storage enables a total range of more than 400 km on the WLTP cycle1.

The electric motor in the ë-Jumpy Hydrogen, powered mainly by the 45-kW hydrogen fuel cell, provides an extended range of almost 350 km. The 10.5 kWh lithium-ion battery serves as a reserve and covers 50 km in the WLTP cycle. It provides additional power for the engine, which is particularly needed during acceleration, and enables energy recovery during deceleration and braking.

The most important feature of a commercial vehicle, the large load volume of 5.3 m³ for the medium length and 6.1 m³ for the XL model, has been preserved by installing the battery under the seats and the three hydrogen tanks under the floor. The load volume is identical to that of the battery-electric and diesel vehicles. The payload and towing capacity also reach up to 1000 kg, as in the petrol/diesel versions.

It takes only about three minutes to fill up the three hydrogen tanks with a usable storage capacity of up to 4.4 kg. This saves time and allows companies to use the vehicle for a longer period of time.

With the Citroën ë-Jumpy Hydrogen, business owners can reduce the carbon footprint of their fleet and make their activities more sustainable.

Production takes place at Stellantis’ hydrogen fuel cell competence centre in Rüsselsheim.

[1] The stated – preliminary – range was determined using the WLTP test procedures (Regulation (EC) No. 715/2007 and Regulation (EU) No. 2017/1151). The actual range may differ under everyday conditions and depends on various factors, in particular personal driving style, route conditions, outside temperature, use of heating and air conditioning as well as thermal preconditioning.
