The H2 MOBILITY fuel card goes digital and can be used via smartphone

Smart technology should also be smartly affordable. That’s why we’re gradually activating the virtual H2 MOBILITY card for everyone. Instead of using the physical fuel card at the terminal, you will be able to unlock the pump fast and convenient with your smartphone via H2.LIVE app. Refueling and billing will proceed as usual.
This is how it works:

Virtual authorization, refueling and billing in three simple steps:

1. Activate the fuel pump: Drive to the hydrogen refueling station and open the H2.LIVE app. If your virtual fuel card has been activated and you are logged in, it will now be displayed. You can unlock the fuel pump by sliding the slider to the right.

2. Carrying out the refueling: The app screen now confirms that you can start the refueling. Carry out the refueling as usual by pressing the green button on the fuel terminal to start. The refueling process has been completed as soon as the green button stops flashing. Alternatively, you can stop refueling manually at any time by pressing the red button on the terminal.

3. Invoicing of the transaction: After the refueling process has been completed, an overview of the transaction is displayed on the app screen. You can also retrieve your receipt under “My refueling history”. The transaction is billed as usual via your monthly invoice, which you can either transfer or pay via SEPA direct debit.
