South Korea to hit 1,000 hydrogen buses on the roads this month

Citybus, a public transport operator in Hong Kong, could replace 70% of its buses with hydrogen models. The company is testing a prototype of a hydrogen bus on public roads.

Extreme H, the world’s first hydrogen off-road racing championship, has introduced its driving machine - the Pioneer 25. It will put the hydrogen racing car through its paces at Extreme E’s Hydro X Prix in Scotland this month.

Cellcentric, the fuel cell joint venture by Daimler Truck and the Volvo Group, has announced the start of a pilot production at the Esslingen-Pliensauvorstadt site in Germany. Large-scale production will kick off by the end of the decade.

Hyvia, a joint venture between Renault Group and Plug, and hydrogen mobility provider Hype have joined forces to "accelerate decarbonised hydrogen mobility." The goal is to lower the cost of H2 and related services.

German public transport operator OVAG Oberbergische Verkehrsgesellschaft will be putting 15 hydrogen buses into operation next year. The vehicles will come from Solaris. A tender for the refuelling solution is planned.
