The battery powers the electric motor during certain driving phases and can be recharged from the mains.<br><br>The entire &#8220;mid-power plug-in hydrogen fuel cell electric&#8221; system integrates compactly into the engine compartment and underbody, so that the load volume is equivalent to diesel and battery electric versions. A low centre of gravity ensures stability, safety and agility. The load volume is up to 6.1m\u00b3, with up to 1,000 kilograms of payload.<br><br>The ability to refuel with hydrogen in three minutes for a range of over 400 kilometres in the WLTP (Worldwide harmonised Light vehicles Test Procedures) homologation cycle<sup>1<\/sup> is a decisive advantage for working people who have to cover several hundred kilometres on the motorway in a day and enter emission-restricted inner cities.<br><br>PEUGEOT e-Expert Hydrogen will be available in two lengths (standard and long).
